A240 is a smooth metal rod, often made from carbon steel, less often from low-alloy steel. It is used to create connecting elements, strengthen lightly loaded concrete structures and create various architectural elements.
A500C is a relatively new type of corrugated fittings, which is distinguished by excellent performance characteristics. Thermo-mechanical effects during the production process and low carbon content ensure excellent weldability and ductility of the reinforcement while maintaining strength. A500C fittings can be used to replace fittings of lower classes - A400, A300, A250 - without additional calculations.
A steel sheet is a metal product that has the shape of a sheet, strips (including square ones), which are obtained by rolling (possibly also by forging, but this technology is used less frequently), and has a rectangular shape in cross section.
There are two types of metals: thin sheet and thick sheet. The difference in their thickness is approximately 2 to 5 mm. Slabs are flat metal, which is characterized by its large thickness. Tin – thin steel, from 0.2 to 0.5 mm. Particularly thin sheets can be made from some metals (for example, foil)
Each subtype has its own characteristics: different profile heights, the presence or absence of additional stiffeners and grooves, the depth and width of the wave, the shape of the product itself. These properties play a decisive role in terms of application.
Profiled sheet C8. The surface is wavy. The strength is somewhat lower than other types of corrugated sheets, so it is used for the manufacture of simple structures (fences, fences) and non-flat roofs.
C10. Corrugations in the form of a trapezoid. The strength is not too high, but for roofs with a steep angle of inclination, temporary buildings, and fences, this is the most suitable option.
C18. The surface is ribbed or wavy. Ease of processing (drilling, cutting) is determined by its small thickness. Externally, products of this type are quite attractive, so any buildings made from it are popular.
C21. A characteristic feature is a ribbed surface protected by a polymer coating. Designed for cladding walls and erecting roofs (lathing pitch 0.8 m), fences, and outbuildings. Good strength and bending resistance.
